There isn't a reason in the world you shouldn't cheer him on. I dislike the idea that Toyota is invading the great American sport but I've always liked Dale so while I wish HIM the best I don't expect Toyota to fair to well in it's early attempts at a championship.

It's more about the sport sticking to American cars, cars that are produced in the states and started in the states, not cars that originated from out of the states but are produced in the states. NO FOREIGN MANUFACTURERS

The rules were circumvented because of them being produced in the states. It was meant only for vehicles originating from the states. Anyhow as for taking on all comers, this isn't F1 or Indy car. It would be one thing if the sport started out that way, but to take a sport and let such manufacturers in spits in the face of those that helped create the sport as well as materializes it to much, IMHO.

That's a pretty unique way of looking at it Donno. Personally, I am indifferrent on the subject since they are basically cookie-cutter cars anyway. Same cars.......different decals.

First official Nascar race? or race period? As for a European invention, yes it was and valid point. I'm referring to just Nascar and not racing as a whole.
