| Re: What color of the rear of the racecar signifies a rookie driver It's actually one yellow stripe, but the brand of the car sits in the middle of the stripe. It didn't used to be that way. |

| Re: What color of the rear of the racecar signifies a rookie driver well here's the thing Jeff Gordon finished 3rd in the first 2 chase races at Kansas he was going to gamble on fuel mileage to win ( he had more gas left than stewart) but his fuel pump quit at Talladega he almost missed the big one but got caught up in it after leading several different times at Lowes he qualified 41st but came up to the front quickly after missing the lap 1 wreck but blew an engine so as you can see Jeff Gordon had top 5 cars for 5 weeks in a row so i believe he would be in 1st right now if it weren't for his troubles!

| Re: What color of the rear of the racecar signifies a rookie driver well if all of them had no troubles then it would still be based on what kind of cars they had the 24 and 31 have had top 5 cars every race so one of them would still be leading |
