| Re: Subway 500 Predictions & Discussion Wonderboy... *snickers* I'd hate to see any of the top 10 'give up' at this point, even if they don't win the Chase. They all came this far up until now... they ought to race it like they mean it! I just hope Kenseth pulls out of his rut. And they really need to put the DeWalt colors back on his car... |

I think he is just admitting that there is some reality in NA$CAR. Yes he can advance in the standings but realistically he probably cannot win. Gearing up for next year and trying to win races this year .... with the outside possibility of a championship is what he is looking at. Sometimes you need to face the inevitable.

| Re: Subway 500 Predictions & Discussion Subway 500 Rank Car Driver 1) 2 Kurt Busch 2) 24 Jeff Gordon 3) 11 Denny Hamlin 4) 12 Ryan Newman 5) 20 Tony Stewart 6) 22 Dave Blaney 7) 8 Dale Earnhardt Jr. 9) 48 Jimmie Johnson 10) 21 Ken Schrader It would appear that the make up of the top 10 qualifiers is somewhat out of the norm. Ryan Newman has in the past had some success at this track. (note my 3rd pick for the predictions). Dave Blaney, Jeff Green and good old Ken will be right in the running at the beginning. How do you think the underdogs will do in this race ??? |

There was over .500 of a second from the first qualifiers to those who went out late. To be honest, I would be suprised if the under dogs did that well, but it sure would be fun. I like them all and they are so funny when they run well (Ken Schrader is a hoot) |
