| The only way to watch a race!!
If anyone lives in St. pete, FL there is a place on Treasure Island that is showing the Bank of America 500 on a 35 foot screen. Yes, a 35 foot screen. I work down the road from Sloppy Joe's and hit happy hour there every now and again. I decided to go there to watch the Super Bowl earlier this year. Can I just tell you what a spectacle that was. They had a screen so big it's almost unbelievable. It was on a side wall of a 4 story hotel building. And not only was it huge, it was the clearest picture I've ever seen. Needless to say, when I found out that they would be showing this weekends race the same way, my plans for Saturday were set. I plan on getting there early and reserving a seat next to the pool they have right next to them and enjoying the show (of course the hot little waitresses they have selling beer down there are just a bonus). I will see you all there. |
