Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "When we quarrel, how we wish we had been blameless."

I thinki we can apply that one to the now infamous Jeffie-Pooh/Mr. Personality set-to of earlier in the season?

LOL, I think its pretty funny on Tradin' Paint that they said Jeff Gordon needs to stop the whining. I guess we can have inconsistent rules in NASCAR if thats the case. I guess some people are so stupid that they can't realise NASCAR clearly said no bump drafting in the corners, yet people do it. We are going to have inconsistent rules in NASCAR sadly.

Personally, I feel that a whole lot of people confuse whining and complaining. I guess that there is a fine line there that hyas different levels for different people. It's kind og like "bashing" someone/something and stating a negative. So, generally, I personally feel these discussions about any driver's "whining" are usually about people stating opinions about the same thing but from different perspectives.

But, you ain't gonna get no arguement from me on NA$CAR's inconsistancy of rule enforcement. It's a real wonder that NASCAR has gotten as major of a sport that it has gotten with it's minor-league rule enforcement. But, it's been that way since 1948, maybe even worse back then.

Mike, did you happen to hear Benny Parsons comment about 40 laps into tonights race? He said that Jeff Gordon was the only one in the pits that was complaining that they didnt get to practice at night, for the race. Now, I pitted on a IMCA and Late Model team for 10 years........and we NEVER practiced at night, but 90% of our races ran in the dark. Which is exactly what Benny said, nobody practices at night even though they race then.
My point? Tradin' Paint is not out of line that he needs to quit whining about every little thing. Frustration is one thing, complaining constantly is another and makes him look the fool, not to mention it's all the more fuel for the bashers.

Then I guess Jeff Gordon is the only one that cares about NASCAR being consistent with their rules.

First off, Jeff Gordon is no Angel and has broken rules just as much as any other driver including Junior. Second what rules are you speaking of dealing with practices. They have never practiced at night and practices have nothing to do with rules. It just shows how much whining Jeff Gordon does and how he whines more when he is doing pi$$ poor. Another instance of him blaming everything else for him doing pi$$ poor.

What rules I am talking about? Hasn't NASCAR said no bump drafting in the turns? Jeff blames other people? I didn't see him blame other people at Chicago.

I'm confused as to why you would respond this way when the comment was on his whining and not rules or bumpdrafting. Jeff has always blamed everything else for his downfalls
