New Dirt Racing Forum??????

What do you guys think. I just think this site should be open to all racing from Dirt Late Models to Nascar. Not to sound like a jerk or anything. Let me know

I totaly agree, that is why I have made post on other series. It would be better if we could have a forum (not in the cellar) Like the ticket sales or what ever it is ,and the Trivia. I try to follow Josh(Kid Rocket)Richards. He drives the #1 He's from Shinnston WV. It would be nice to have motorcross too, my favorite James Stewart. Josh* ( Kid Rocket) Richards

You have my vote! Local track racing is the best and is the backbone of racing in the USA.

The ONLY problem with your fine suggestion is twofold.

(a) No commonality in conversation. The vast majority of local drivers are people the rest of us probably know nothing about. The conversation would be in generalities only.

(b) A sizeable percentage of current NASCAR fans have never been to a local race. They only follow racing on the tube, and the ONLY races they have any interest in attending are Cup races. Evidence of this is the fact that NA$CAR encourages the Cup drivers to fill the Cup Lite (Busch Grand National) races in order to put butts in the seats, increase TV ratings, and to "Save the Series." (The NASCAR media's choice of words, not mine.)

But, an excellent suggestion! I'd be honored to play in that sand pile.

I think you nascar fans would enjoy!!!

Re: New Dirt Racing Forum??????

Hi guys, we've got some guidelines for adding a new forum. Check here:
Request a New Forum Here

Basically, feel free to chat about whatever. If there's enough people who are interested/involved, I'll see if we can do a forum for it.

Re: New Dirt Racing Forum??????

I think this a great idea. But like Bob I see a problem with familiararity. I can start a thread about the Vance brothers or Billy Tuckwell and who will respond? I LOVE the local dirt tracks! The dust, mud and rubber flying in your face( I like to sit front row at the end of turn four). The black sludge in the bottom of your beer glass( Yeah, ya try to cover it when they come around, but it still gets in there). Oh man! did you see that?! That was the ugliest finish ever! I'll get back to this later, I gotta go.
