Nascar Renigs on Restrictor Plates

I'm so mad right now I could spit fire. Friday Nascar said they wouldn't screw with the restrictor plates after the practice speeds were hitting 199mph. They renigged this morning dropping it from 15/16 to 7/8. Dropping the speeds by 4-5mph. They just couldn't leave well enough alone. No drivers were complaining, and even said they couldn't believe how good the track was gripping.

You just have to love NA$CAR's ability to change rules quicker than Anna Nicole Smith can show off her hooters whenever she is within range of a camera. I think this makes NA$CAR's 2006 Rules Revision # 2165².

In NA$CAR's behalf, I can feel their pain when they envision some race car running 200 MPH getting airborne and ending up, either whole or in pieces, in row 10 of the O.V. Hill South Grandstand.

I thionk that the bottom line is the NASCAR just didn't have their ducks in a row before they came to Talladega. I humbly advise NA$CAR to observe "Bob's Rule of 'P' to the 6th Power" (Prior Planning Prevents P*ss Poor Performance) in the future.
