Help pick tickets for Pheonix

Hey guys, I am taking customers to the Checker 500 at PIR in November. I need to know what are considered the best areas for seats. The guys I am taking have been to the track many times so I want to get them in a good area. Any help would be appreciated. I pretty much have my pick of tickets and want to make the right choice for their benefit. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks abunch

As long as they already know you're taking them TO the race, ask them where they want to sit, and then check availability. Since they've been there they'll know what's good and what isn't.

Re: Help pick tickets for Pheonix

I appreciate the response and that is an option but I would rather just take them into a good section and not have to have them worry about making the decisions. I guess I should be more specific. I am just curious if generally you would rather sit at the start/finish, first turn, or last turn into the straightaway. Also if higher up is better. I am not a NASCAR veteran so I was more curious as to a general idea of what would be most desirable.

Thanks again!

Re: Help pick tickets for Pheonix

Unfortunately flipper all of those areas are good seats. It depends what you like. Do want the best view? Then sit up high. Want to feel the speed and taste the rubber? Then sit low. Want a great view of the pits? Sit on the 50 uhh.. start finish line. Want a great view of the fender rubbin and don't want to turn your head back and forth all day...sit in the turn. Want them coming at you... sit in turn 1 or 3. Want to see the cars slide and get a feel for how they are handling... sit in 2 or 4. If you drink, sit on the end so you can get to the restrooms. If you don't drink then sit in the middle so you don't have people walking past you all day.

Want to see Tony smoke em...sit anywhere!!

Re: Help pick tickets for Pheonix

That is pretty much what I needed to hear. Thanks a bunch. I appreciate the info. By next year I will have this all figured out. I took 'em to Texas Motor Speedway and now Pheonix. Thats funny you mentioned Tony. I became a Tony fan in Last years TMS Race. Thanks again, I am going to spend my companies money and get some tix.
