Hey, I was playing my NASCAR 07 game online last night and was wondering if any of you do the same. Post here if you do and if you play on Xbox live along with your screen name and add me to your friends list and we can race each other. Here is mine:

Pirate, I have an XBox w/steering wheel and pedals and have always wanted to race online, but havent a clue as to where to start. I've never hooked it up online and have only raced against the machine. Also, my newest edition of Nascar is 2005. Oh, and I have the regular Xbox, not the 360.

I never raced online, and rarely with anyone else. I do have a cable connection. how much is Xbox live, do you have to have a wheel, or can you use a controler.


afew years ago I wanted to get into online racing, bought a momo wheel and got the cable speed , but was never able to get it all sorted out.

I'd love to race online with so people who enjoy racing and not just crashing every one.

let look into this, but I get dibbs on the 31 car.

also I have all the EA's up to 2005, didn't care for TTC 2006,and have really looked at 2007.

I have been looking at the 360 but if I can't run nascar then I don't need it.


speaking of sim racing, a company called ratpack did a game called dirt track racing .it was o.k. but then came out with sprintcar racing and for the time was a really good game(on the computer). when is someone going to do one for the console gamers.

mann I been to the xbox live site like 5 times, an each time I get an error box
saying the program has made an illeagal operation and will shut down

wierd thing is xbox does not show up in my history

they have world of outlaws for ps2 and just came out with dtr for ps2 and you race 3 different divisions 1. modifieds 2. midgets 3. sprints

I have 360 but not sure how to hook up online because I bought it used at Rhino's and dont have insructions. I would appreciate it if you could tell me how and I would accept your challenge pirate.

First thing everyone needs is an Xbox Live account in order to race online. I am not sure off of the top of my head how much I pay for mine. I believe it's like $10/month or so. Since I really can't explain it across a message board effectively I would encourage everyone to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and the folks there are helpful and can handle all of these question. Besides, that's what they get paid for, right? 95% of the people I talked to there were not only helpful but seemed to enjoy their jobs, either that or they were good at faking it. Anyways, try them and for anyone who has 07....it's on! Once you get hooked up online, post your screen name here and I will certainly be looking you up.

Now THAT would be fun! I keep telling myself I'm going to get a PS2 because of the better selection of games. Someday I need to actually do it.

It is great fun, my nephew has the midget one and we race when I go visit them. I used to own the Sprint Car game when I had a PS2 and I wish they would come out with a new game for Xbox.

that game is awesome.those sprint cars have a lot of power.they were hard to drive at first but i finally won the sprintcar championship on that game.

3, I prefer hard clean racing over bang'em up racing. Even if I am crashed I don't mind as long as it was a legitimate accident. I'm not perfect and I've crashed a person or three so it's all good if it is "just racing" and not a you're going to beat me so I crashed you instead move. I was hoping this thread would help me find the former kind of racers to race against online.

I was looking around the Xbox 360 site and the EAsports site, and found so people talking about Dirt to Daytona.
anyone ever played it, is it only for PS2, or can you get it for PC or Xbox.

the dirt racing looks like street stocks with 80's monte SS's, just wondering if it was a good dirt racing game. couldn't find a real BIO on the game but did see some screen shots.

it has streetstocks, modifieds,trucks,(maybe busch) and cup cars.

I also realized I have a free 2 month subscibtion for live in my NC2005.

I like the Na$car games... only problem is I end up drinkin and a few races later I'm runnin Talladega backwards tryin to wreck the field.
