| FOXSports.com Posted: 2 hours ago MOORESVILLE, N.C. - After a five-year joint-venture, Busch Series team owner Armando Fitz and Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw have agreed to end their business relationship at the end of the 2006 season. "It's been a really great experience working with Terry," Fitz said, "but with his increasing obligations in broadcasting and film, he would be unable to fulfill his role in promoting our sponsors. We will continue our friendship and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors". Bradshaw, while having an affinity for NASCAR, regrets having to end his involvement. ******************************** I know having heard so many interviews with Terry That he was not happy. This is a result of so many Buschwackers. Terry has been saying for sometime that they couldn't compete with all the big motorsporst throwing their dollars at the Busch Series. How many more are the likes of Rousch and Hendricks ,who runs muti Busch car teams, going to push out. It doesn't say in the article thats why he's getting out, but he has expressed he is not happy for awhile. Read the rest. FOX Sports - NASCAR - Fitz, Bradshaw to end Busch partnership after season |

| Re: Fitz, Bradshaw to end Busch partnership after season I hate to see any team close up shop, but those super cut commercails get on my nevers. they should use the top 35 rule in busch (do they now???). and start everyone at zero points even up, no last years points. when the cup cars go to vagas, send the busch guys to maimi on sunday............no cup guy's. do this for the first 5-6 races after daytona, and there will only be room for 5-8 cup guy's with out the top 35 points. the more races that run on sunday opposite the cup guys the less cup guys will be there. maybe run the busch cars on sunday evaning at a different location. any how Fitz says he will be racing in 07, is he buying bradshall out and keeping the teams, or starting something new ???

| Re: Fitz, Bradshaw to end Busch partnership after season Man, I would love to see some rules or something to keep the Cup drivers out of the Bush series. The just ruin everything. It should be outlawed to run both. NASCAR won't do that because they want the names there to draw people in the stands. |

| Re: Fitz, Bradshaw to end Busch partnership after season Quote:
NASCAR has run the Busch Grand National races as companion races with the Cup races since 1982. before that, they ran the Sportsman Division along with the Cup and Grand national races since... At least 1962. Maybe one or two drivers from the major division would run with them, but never more than that. Sure, there was less interest in that division and fewer butts were in the seats on raceday, but they survived and provided many, many Grand National and Cup stars. Now, all of a sudden civilization as we know it, will cease to exist if the Cup Raiders and their teams aren't allowed to half fill the BGN field each week? Let's see... NA$CAR has managed to chase out of NASCAR competition The Stavola Brothers, The Jackson Brothers, Bud Moore, Gary Bechtel, A.G. Dillard, Butck Mock, Michael Kranefuss, Junior Johnson, Bobby Allison, Cale Yarborough, Larry Hedrick, Travis Carter, and lots of others whose names don't readily come to mind. I don't have a clue as to how many BGN owners have folded their tents and have found other ways to spend their time. I guess we can add Bradshaw's name to the list? But fear not, sports fans. NA$CAR still has the George Steinbrenner twins, Rick "The Felon" Hendrick, and Jack Roush.
