Craftsman Truck Series-Help needed

Hi

I live in the UK and this is my first year following Nascar , we can watch the Nextel Cup on NASN sports channel here but have very little other coverage.

I have seen a couple of short clips of the Truck Series and would love to watch a full race-anyone know of somewhere I could download or buy a video of a race?

We (myself and my husband) used to follow IRL/Champ cars but it got a bit boring- Nascar is sooooo exciting to watch and we really look forward to the races just wish there was a bit more coverage here.

go to NASCAR.COM

There is a spot near the top to select CUP, BUSCH or TRUCKS there usually have a condened verision of the race, but I tyhink you will need a high speed conection.

good luck.

Thanks for the reply, I don't think our connection is quick enough to get good replay think I will have to keep looking for a download,

Thanks for the link though, maybe it will be quick enough one day.

Welcome.

They have NASCAR on NASN? Tell me, do they still have the Eurosports channel there? That was where we used to watch the F1 and motorcycle GP races when we lived in Europe.

I would say your best bet would be to contact NASN itself and see if they could help you. At first glance an easy fix would be for someone here to tape a race and send it to you but our TV's aren't in PAL format, but are in NSTC. You could get good sound but no picture except for the fact that it'd be garbled due to the difference in our 60 HZ versus your 50 Hz.

If one of you out there happens to have a dual PAL/NSTC system, that would be the best solution. That would cost you the least amount of pounds.

Again welcome, and congratulations on getting the CTS Series. That is the best Series NA$CAR has to offer at the present.

Re: Craftsman Truck Series-Help needed

Hi

Yeah I have sent an email to Nasn asking if they may show the Trucks. We can't get Eurosport but used to watch it many years ago.

NTSC wouldn't be a problem as our TV/DVD player can play NTSC and it is fairly easy to convert to UK Tv system anyway (Hurrah for Avidemux)

The main problem would be someone taking the time/effort to record a Truck race for us then upload it somewhere like Rapidshare or Oxyshare-if someone would be willing to do that of course we would be very very grateful.

Can't wait to watch the race this week, the Chase for the Cup seems such a good idea -and there's loads of passing something we don't get much in F1 or IRL anymore

We hope to come over to watch a race live in the next couple of years.

Hi

Nascar.com seems only to have highlights and it seems difficult to cancel a subscription from here in the UK.

Never mind maybe some kind soul will have an upload of a truck race sometime.

Enjoyed the cup race on Sunday the finish was awesome.

I'm still here everyone, my computer is down. Had to use my supervisors. I'll be back on as soon as my computer gets up and running again. The race sucked! Sorry Ross!
