The #24 complains again!

Why does Jeff always complain about "unfair" racing with his teamates Vicker's and Busch?
In todays race Jeff complained to his spotter when the #25 passed him. He thinks just because he is in the chase Brian Vickers doesn't deserve to be in front of him to get his first win. Thats bull and shows that he is not a team player.

We must have another Gordon fan amongst us.

But welcome to the forum anyway, even if you are a JG fan.

Re: The #24 complains again!

The thread was started to see if others caught his complaining today and to say I don't think just because you are in the chase gives you any more rights to the race position or they might as well just have 10 drivers.

If I would have seen the race, I would have caught it for sure, and probably posted the same thing. It does sound like something he would say.

But I went out riding our quads with the wife and only heard part of the race on XM. However I just heard Jimmy the Moron Spencer speaking of Gordons radio conversation, say Brian Vickers will not be with Hendrick next year because he is not a team player!!! What an idiot! I saw Vickers push Jimmy Johnson to the front at one of the plate races, only to have Jimmy hang him out to dry and finish somewhere in the 'teens, while the 48 won the race.

I will say Gordon did have a fast car and will be a threat for this championship...........as much as I hate to say it.

Yeah, Nevada, he probably will be w threat; it doesn't make my socks roll up and down either, but...fact is fact. However, be of strong heart, they still have nine races to go and a lot can happen.

As long as we're making statements we hate to say, today Harvick put me in this boat. The darn little twerp made a move early in the race today that actually looked like a driver who wanted to go to the front! He about put Hamlin into the wall doing it. When asked after the race he admitted it might not have been the best thing to do, at the time but he wanted to be in the lead. He went on to state that his strategy is to try and win every race and let the points take care of themselves. What a concept! Race to win, not collect points. I still think he's a dink, but he got some respect from me today.

Also, Mark Martin made a hell of a move, going three-wide on the inside to pass. He looked like the old Mark Martin for a second. Good driving, Mark!

Hello, I am a Gordon Fan and I am also new to the board. Yes, Gordon was saying that Vickers was in his way today but I kind of have to agree with Gordon for getting a little frustrated. Gordon is in the Chase and they are teammates. I'm not saying that Vickers should just let him pass easily because it is a race it's just that it did look like Gordon also had a fast car. I am a fan of Vickers and I don't like how there is tension between those two.

Re: The #24 complains again!

C'mon guys, no need for squabbling.

nolimitken, any member is welcome to start pretty much any thread that follows the forum rules. That's what tbalt did. Don't tell somebody they can't start a thread that you think is pointless.

tbalt, it's not a personal attack. It's just nolimitken not following the spirit of what I want this forum to be.

Let's try to be a little more civil, please.

I still stand behind my poll picks to win the championship. Harvick and Hamlin are going to hard to beat.
And for Mark Martin ( wow where did that driving come from ) thats the most aggressive I've seen him in a couple years. It's about time he took a chance, maybe he also has a chance to finally be a champion.

Hi Katgirl9, welcome to GoTeamsGo.

Gordon fans and anti-Gordon fans alike are welcome here as long as the discussion stays on the drivers

Look forward to chatting with you here.

Re: The #24 complains again!

Yeah, I dont agree with Jeff hating his teamate right there but hey,it was in the heat of the moment. The only thing that ticked me off about what Brian did was that he gave Jeff a hell of a hard time when Jeff was trying to get by him in the closing laps, but let Tony just go on by. That was messed up because Tony was coming fast

JimmySpencer didn't know what he was talking about because Brian Vickers is the one that desided to leave Hendricks. Your correct he is always helping his team get to the front.
