| Petty Enterprises Gets New Crew Chiefs Petty Enterprises hired two new crew chiefs Monday as the team said it will use the final 10 races of this season to prepare for 2007. Bill Wilburn, former crew chief for Rusty Wallace, was chosen to run Kyle Petty's team, while championship crew chief Paul Andrews will handle the same duties for Bobby Labonte. ''We're looking ahead,'' Petty vice president Robbie Loomis said. ''We feel we needed to make a change now to be best prepared going into next season. I think (this) is exactly the type of move that is going to energize Petty Enterprises for the remainder of this season and for 2007.'' Petty Enterprises Gets New Crew Chiefs this is a very good move i like both Bobby and Kyle, hope it works out well for them

In my opinion there are two current Cup crew chiefs who can immediately turn an operation around solely on their leadership abilities; Todd Parrott and "Fatback" McSwain. Paul is good but he's not in these two chief's league. As far as Billy Wilburn goes...? I personally believe he's a couple of cuts below Andrews. But, I thought Reichert was done and look what he did for Biffle? What do I know? I sure hope it works out for Petty, though. Note to Kyle: Kyle, you have taken over-achieving to an art form. You did it with Sabates when you tried to be both a C&W singer and a race driver. Now you're doing it again, trying to drive and also chauffer a very worthwhile operation, Victory Junction. Havelock Ellis wrote, "Where there is the most labour, there is not always the most life." As I wrote in another post, why don't you step aside and do what you do best, and give another deserving waif your seat?
