NASCAR on Tuesday indefinitely suspended Busch Series driver Kevin Grubb - again - for failing to comply with its substance-abuse policy.
According to the mews release announcing Grubb's suspension, NASCAR suspended Grubb this time for "his refusal to submit to required testing."
NASCAR's policy provides for testing if there is "reasonable suspicion" someone is using a banned substance.
However, as part of his reinstatement from his first suspension, Grubb agreed to be tested at NASCAR's discretion, NASCAR vice president Jim Hunter said.
Grubb, 28, was asked to submit to a test following Friday's Busch race at Richmond, Va., but he refused.
"He would not submit to a drug test. We even gave him some time to think about it," Hunter said.
Friday was the fifth Busch race Grubb had driven in since his reinstatement. He started 28th and finished 43rd in the race after wrecking on the first lap of the race. Grubb, a native of Mechanicsville, Va., has 174 career starts in the series, but has never won a race. He also has eight starts in the Craftsman Truck Series.

What kind of substances are banned in Nascar? Obviously you don't want guys driving who may have drugs like heroin, coke, marijuana, etc.
