I was just watching Dave Despains "Inside Nextel Cup" show. Kenny Schrader asked Todd Berrier (#29 Crew Chief) who they need to keep behind them to win the Chase. His answer was "That dadgum 9 is going to be tough". I just thought it was cool for a Chevy guy to say watch out for the Dodge and Kasey.

Yeah, I saw that too, surprised me. I think he's right.

We just won't tell anyone how great Kasey is, they can find out for themself.

He is truly one of my favorite drivers. I heard one of the announcers saying how genuinely nice he is and you hardly ever hear him say a bad word about any of the other drivers. I like someone who can be competitive yet positive and humble. He doesn't have to trash talk and say what a great driver he is. The proof is looking at his bumper.

If Kahne wants to win it this year, he will have to do better at the rest of the tracks, not just the 1 1/2 and 1/2 mile tracks.

i think khane will be a contender for the championship but i think hamlin will win it all

there was a period between infenion and California where he completely sucked, theres not a reason why he cant get that streak once again

Nor is there a reason he cant keep his hot streak going. He's already on a roll with a win and a 3rd in the last two races.

I think when they put kahne in the #9 to take over for Bill Elliott was one of the best moves Everham made, because they took a driver with class out and put another younger driver in with class you cant beat that.

Once he starts winning to much there will be a new group that "HATE" Kasey Kahne because .......................

Well you know all the reasons. They are the same ones that the "I hate _____ because" fans use for that driver they all "hate".

Unless he has a BIG personality change, I dont see too many people "hating" him for winning. The kid is too easy going, has no huge ego and rarely does anything stupid on the track, hence no real reason for hatred. Mark Martin has done a lot of winning over the years, yet he has very few who actually hate him. If people start hating Kahne because he wins too much, they need to find another sport to watch.

Nevada I understand your response but you've been here long enough to have read many, many postings. Are all the reasons some posters hate drivers really valid ???? When I hear reasons such as "Jeff Gordon has no upper lip" I kind of wonder just what they really mean. I see no relation to ones upper lip and winning races ???? Maybe I am just missing something in the postings.
