Earnhardt Jr: Team ready to go for championship

Dale Earnhardt Jr. says his team is in championship form at this point in the season.
The Dale Earnhardt Inc. driver, who has only been outside the top 10 in the standings following only two races this season, returns to the Chase For The Nextel Cup after a year's absence.
With a win, 12 top-10 and eight top-five finishes, Earnhardt Jr. has shown increased consistency this season, and he credits much of that to his team and crew chief Tony Eury Jr.
"Tony Jr. has done a great job all year of keeping me calm in the car; that makes his job a whole lot easier," Earnhardt Jr. said. "He is doing a great job leading this team. These guys are all behind him. I can't say enough about he people I have been surrounded with this year, from the top down in our organization.
"From all the guys in the shop, the guys building the motors ... we have had a heck of an effort there. No matter what happens, we are going for it. But I am really appreciative of what they have done for me this year."

i would really like to see Jr. win the championship.
i dont think it will happen i think he will finish behind hamiln and harvick

Junior is definately ready for the Chase! After seeing his interview after the race, I believe the team and him are on the same page! Jr. believes he should have won the Chase a couple of years ago, and I agree. Dale, Jr is ready and capable to bring his first Cup to DEI!!!!!!!
