Look at the Colts from last year. They went undefeated but lost in the playoffs. No championship ring, no Cup.

It comes down to when the heat is on the best driver wins. No matter what he done leading up to the Chase or in other words playoffs you got to win when it counts the most.

Hmmm, interesting but if that was true then we'd have ONE race for the top 25 at the end of the Season and then the Race for the Chase TOP 10 would have ONE race and the 1, 2, 3, cars would then go into a FINAL Race...and the winner of that.... Yawn, man even I was bored by that.

Football/Baseball and Racing= Apples to Oranges.

You should be able to lose most of the first 1/4 of the season and then have a amazing last 1/2 and still WIN. It's the American way!!!

We do not have one playoff game or a get in or out game

I think it's NASCARS version of a playoff system.

Albiet not the best or most popular but the one France chose to go with.
