Burton needs to send his crew chief to the trailer at mid race. Maybe that way he can finish up front.

At this point, I dont care what happens or who finishes where as long as Kasey Kahne gets back his much deserved spot in the Chase. Although, I definately wouldnt mind Martin getting dumped out along with The Shrub. One has no wins, the other no personality.

Richmond is one of my favorite tracks and there should be some good racing.

Should be a great race tonight. I have a feeling the top 5 contenders will be Gordon, Kahne, Kesneth, Harvick, and Hamlin. Jeff Burton may be a contender, but we have seen Burton will go backwards at the end of the race, so Im not sure about Jeff Burton. All Gordon needs to do is be conservative, and they should finish 25th or betterm and he has a great starting position to stay up there as well, now I hope he has a good enough car to stay up front for the race. I hope the 3 Hendrick cars make the Chase, so that gives a better chance of Hendrick Motorsports winning the Nextel Cup Championship! Right now the only driver for HMS that I believe has a shot is Jeff Gordon, and Im not saying that because Im a fan of his. As Dupont4five said, since Michigan, he has finished 16th or better and has collected the most points since, and with Gordon running better, I think it shouldn't be a problem for Gordon to finish 25th or better tonight. I think people are under-estimating Gordon, and he will be a serious contender for the Chase, and I hope a HMS driver wins the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series championship, most perferabley Jeff Gordon. The Rainbow Warriors can breath easier after Gordon makes the Chase.

Hey Mike24, Welcome to GTG, sure hope you are right, I'm a nerves wreck waiting to see if my guy gets in the chase. This is a great forum with good people. Bash any driver, but love the members.
