I received an email saying I have a private message on GoTeamsGo from member TSN. I clicked on the link that took me to my pm's, but there was no new messages. (edit by rmjvol)

There is no TSN in our member directory...you may want to forward that email to Ross....

It was a spammer.

He signed up, made 1 post to get around one of our automated filters, and then proceeded to send a TON of private messages to members about coming to join his sports forum.

I think he sent out about 50 messages in 5 minutes before I caught him & banned him. We've got a tool that deletes all the messages he sent so that's why you don't see his spam in your inbox.

I am a member of a ton of forums and was a leader of a couple and I think this staff here is one of the freindliest and best run boards around.

But yea I got the same email so I expect most everyone else did too

They waste about an hour of my time every day. But I catch most of these things pretty fast.

O.k. O.k. You guys win. I just can't stay away. And this is the reason why. I've been to many differrent boards for many different sports. This is the ONLY one that is not either elitist or insulting. (I know, sometimes I'm overly sensitive). And Ross does such a good job of making sure everybody enjoys it. Gammie, Yuo're the BEST! But what are you doing up so late? I work 2nd shift. I worked tonite cause it was double time at the company that sponsers the #22. I don't really care for my employer very much cause I'm a UAW member and they're gonna sponsor a Toyota next year. but it's hard to pass up all that money.
