With four races remaining in the battle for the IndyCar Series championship, six drivers are mathematically eligible. The chase kicks off this weekend at Kentucky Speedway, followed by Infineon, Belle Isle and Chicagoland.

Scott Dixon, Helio Castroneves, Dan Wheldon, Tony Kanaan, Ryan Briscoe and Danica Patrick all remain alive for title contention.

Who do you think will win the championship?

I concur with the above... in fact, if Dixon doesn't win it, I would consider it an upset, no matter who wins it!

Don't know how this slipped past me, but now that Dixon's been crowned the 2008 IndyCar Champion, I should mention that fact here and identify those who correctly picked the winner: everybody who voted.

yeah, I know. it seemed like a good idea at the time, but I guess everyone already knew that tax-evading driver wasn't gonna pull off an upset.

I'll start a 2009 champ prediction thread next season .. early .. so we can see who truly has a crystal ball.
