I grew up in Old Greenwich, CT from 1972-1995 before they built house upon house over every square foot of land. So youre probably right to some extent. See its reasons 1-3 however that make me grind my teeth at night...
1. The Mafia torture, murder and kidnap people to scratch the surface and the people in the Bronx romanticize them. Thats sick. Thats like those punk rockers who wear pics of serial killers on their tshirts except that punks are just doing it to piss of people...these Bronxites really strive to be Tony Soprano!!!
2. NY Yankees...not a baseball fan so that doesnt apply. I just grow tired of every single person you see wearing a Yankee cap, shirt, jersey, etc. I even saw a tattoo 4 days ago! A tattoo!!! The funny part is the gent was wearing a LA Dodgers road jersey. Guess he could get a coverup.
3. Frank Sinatra...hey the guy could sing no doubt. He could act too BUT the Bronxites like him mostly for reason #1. Unfortunate isnt it? Thats like being an Elvis fan because he had a pill addiction.
The Bronx isnt for me ladies and gents and im stuck here.
