Re: Sarah Fisher back on track

Good to see Sarah back, if only temporarily. I have a preference for mid-westerners who come up through the sprint car ranks.

I have a major problem with her Wikipedia page, though. As usual, Wikipedia has about 10% of its information wrong. Sarah was NOT the first female to get a pole in a major motor sports series. That honor goes to Shawna Robinson for her BGN pole on 1994 or 5 (can't remember which).

Sarah's problems with sponsors brings up a question I've wondered about but can't seem to find an answer.

I know the real competitive sponsorships for a Cup car run in the vicinity of $20 million, for a season. What is the cost for a comparative IRL car?

dunno the answer to that, but there's a base line of sorts that was established with the "merger": $2mil plus a Dalara chassis and a Honda engine; salaries and expenses extra.
