Re: Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen Predictions

My boy Hunter-Reay looked good all day (there I go, fawning over the latest "hot driver, again <g>). Too bad Rahal had to run with a completely rebuilt car or he might have had the finish predicted. Ditto Helio.

Really poor form by Dixon on the caution lap today. But, we've seen similar things before (at Indianapolis and at Michigan on the parade lap, no less).

I see Duno has a driving instructor helping her now (still unsure of why she helped Foyt into the fence today during the yellow flag. Maybe it wasn't her fault. IF Dixon can screw up, she's entitled one also, I guess). Funny, I always thought that drivers at this level were the instructors? I must have missed something.

the replay showed (as the announcers explained) the car in front of Duno slowed unexpectedly, Duno got on the brakes and swerved to the right .. just as Foyt did the same. Can't blame that on Duno. If Foyt had had proper spacing, he'd have come out unscathed...

This is one where you and I have been at, more or less, opposite ends of the teeter-totter since day one, Duck. I keep waiting for Duno to do something (anything!) to prove to me that I'm wrong that she's a menace out there.

I'm still waiting. Maybe its her Venezuelan sponsorship? I don't know. All I know is that she wrecks more than she finishes (or appears to, anyway). Yesterday was just another wreck, which is pretty much what I've come to expect from her.

Danica's little tete-a-tete was equally dumb and Dixon's mistake was the same. But they don't do it every race.

I guess you and I can agree to disagree here. But Bob's vote is that she should be back in Formula Whatever and not in IRL.
