[Racer Duck]

This week's schedule is, admittedly, sparse as I'm trying to rebuild my bookmarks that were wiped out when I had major technical problem with my PC last week (which also caused me to not be able to post the calendar I had 80% finished ). I hope to be back to normal by next week. In the meantime, if you see an event missing for this week that you believe is of interest, please post it to this thread. I promise I'll include the series in my bookmarks.

Another reason for this weeks sparseness is we seem to be “in between” on a lot of schedules: V8 Supercars don't race again until June, IndyCar is in Indy 500 mode during “The Month of May”, F1 are preparing for Monaco at the end of the month, SuperCross is over for the year (they'll begin their new season in the Fall) and many of the desert series are preparing for the Baja 500 at the end of the month. Still, there's a bunch of things going on this week as you can see. So support your favorites and check out some of the ones you aren't familiar with – who knows you just might find another “favorite” (just Google the series name – that's the first part of every entry – and you'll find lots of websites to visit )

I'm instituting a new feature this week: The Spotlight Event. This week's Spotlight event is one of the most famous events in all of motorsports: Mille Migla. You can find all you want to know about the event at their website including a route map of the historic event (select 2008 then Route). If you're familiar with any of the cities/towns on the route, you can even find a list of the streets/roads that'll be traversed along with an approximate time of day when the first car should appear!
