I've never been a big fan of hers but yes a win is a win. No asterisk involved. The only thing I will say is that gas strategy isn't the same as pure driving ability. As noted in the article Jimmie Johnson just won a race using the same method. For her sake I wish and hope that she can now go out there and get another victory to shut people like me up !!! I'm still unconvinced that she is that great, but I'm more than willing to be proven wrong.

I was with you on this. I thought she was an attractive woman that knew how to race and was being promoted for the sport. I never actually thought she would win, but I was wrong too.
