The ARCA Series will be at Rockingham Speedway May 4th. Andy Hillenburg, track owner, expects 50 cars to show up to qualify for the 42 starting positions. Tony Stewart will wave the green flag for the Carolina 500. Greg Zipadelli will driver the pace car. $35 for front stretch seats. Quite a bargin. Kenny Schrader and Chad McCumbee will be in the field to qualify.

I'm going to bake a big pan of biscuits and add some of that Virginia ham and set there and watch good racing.

This might be a good race. I may drive up for this one. I saw the announcement today and Hillenburg expects 80 cars to attempt to qualify. There will be 50 cars starting the race. I would venture to say that most of the cars will be last year's cup cars. They had to go somewhere.
