NHRA season opener

Tony Schumacher, Robert Hight, and Greg Anderson took top honors this weekend in Pomona!

There was some great racing action, and for me it was great to see Corey McClenathon back up to speed in the Top Fuel ranks. An alliance with Don Schumacher seems to be paying off already!

It was tough not seeing Dave Connoly there this week. I hope they can work out a sponsor for that team. Dave is a great young driver, and the class needs younger talent to keep the great competition going!

Tony Pedrogons wreck in Funny car was pretty nasty as well. Glad to see he came out pretty much unscathed. He did get second degree burn on one hand, but he says he will be back for the next event.
