The new GT2 car based on the road-going V8 Vantage will be eligible to compete in a variety of sports car championships, including the American Le Mans Series, FIA GT Championship and European-based Le Mans Series. The British marquee now becomes the first manufacturer to have cars able to compete in all four GT categories: the DBR9 in GT1, Vantage GT2 in GT2, DBRS9 in GT3 and the Vantage N24 in GT4. The Vantage GT2 will also have the unique feature of being run on either standard race fuel or E85 bio-ethanol.
