| Daryn Pittman Wins Down Under
After a very strong 2007 Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series season that saw him win six times and finish fourth in championship points, Daryn Pittman began preparing for the 2008 season on Wednesday night, competing at Brisbane International Speedway in Australia as part of the International sprint car season.
Pittman won the 30-lap A-Feature in convincing form, after having to wait out a number of rain showers early in the night. Pittman, a native of Owasso, Oklahoma, set a torrid pace, lapping all the way up to the sixth-place driver at one point of the race, before a caution period.
