Newsflash, 12 November 2007 - Sébastien Pourcel raced this weekend the famous Paris Bercy Supercross, an event that he prepared during his three week stay in California. Working with Pro Circuit, one of the most experienced companies, he tested suspensions and engines with his mechanic and came back to France with some parts in his luggage.
His confidence was affected when his friend and MX of Nations teammate Pierre Alexandre Renet broke his leg in the first free practice session, and on Friday Sébastien didn’t finish any of the two finals and didn’t qualify in the tournament, a novelty in Bercy. Saturday was much better and Seb finished the first final in tenth position behind US and French SX specialists. He then went to the quater finals in the tournament, but finished the night with a heavy crash..
