| Schumacher to Turn Left HOMESTEAD, Fla. - Tony Schumacher is used to racing in a straight-line at speeds in excess of 330 mph. That's about to change as the five-time NHRA POWERade Top Fuel champion is going to try his hand at stock car racing. Schumacher is planning to make the transition to turn left by running some NASCAR West races for Bill McAnally Racing. “I’m just going to make some laps and enjoy myself,” Schumacher said. “I think drag racing the greatest sport in the world and I don’t want to leave there. But do I want to retire in 10 years and say 'I never gave it a shot?'
