Mitsubishi's Gwyndaf Evans is one of six drivers still in with a chance of taking the BRC title on the Wales Rally GB - the final round in the 2007 Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship. Crash.net Radio caught up with him at the pre-Wales Rally GB press day earlier this month and got his thoughts on the season to date and more...



Crash.net:
Gwyndaf, it has not been the happiest of years for you results wise. Obviously you got the ride with Mitsubishi after your success in 2006, but it has not worked out necessarily the way you would have expected…

Gwyndaf Evans:
Not quite. I have had a good time and at least I have still been pretty competitive against Mark [Higgins] and Guy [Wilks] all year and that has been pretty special. We have been unfortunate. We have had retirements on three key events and that has probably cost us the championship lead. But at the end of the day we have still fought through. We have had some good performances and the championship is still not decided. We can still mathematically win it on Rally GB. It is not finished until it is finished.
