| EXCLUSIVE: Andy Priaulx Q&A Andy Priaulx made FIA World Touring Car history at the weekend by becoming the series' first three-time champion with a brilliant race victory at Macau. His achievement, which adds to his European title in 2004, makes him the first driver to win four FIA touring car titles in a row, surpassing Roberto Ravaglia's 19-year-old record of three straight titles in both the WTCC and ETCC. Eurosport.yahoo.com caught up with the 33-year-old Briton following his return to his Guernsey home. So Andy, first of all a huge congratulations. Three consecutive World Touring Car titles, plus the European championship the year before, so really that's four FIA titles in as many years. No Briton has ever done that before. Andy Priaulx: "Yeah, it's brilliant, and what a topsy-turvy few days. I only came back from Macau on the Tuesday and I had 2-300 people waiting for me at the airport, so that was pretty special." How does this title compare to the other two, and the ETCC crown in 2004? AP: "This has been the toughest without a doubt, and I had to use everything in my reserves to come back from a year that has seen more disappointments than in the previous years. Look at Brno early in the season. I got punted out at the first corner of race one and we lost potentially 18 points there. It was tough after that, but I bounced back with the win in Porto. Look at how Jorg never recovered from his bad results at Brands Hatch, Augusto lost something too in the latter stages, so I think that proves what a good job we did."
