Greg and Leo Mansell, sons of former CART and F1 champion Nigel Mansell, will drive for Walker Racing in the Champ Car Atlantic Series in 2008. Walker has already inked Canadian Kevin Lacroix for a third Atlantic entry next season.

Greg, 20, and Leo, 22, tested with Walker in October at the Putnam Park road course outside Indianapolis. The two raced karts for just six months before entering the Formula BMW U.K. championship in 2006. They competed in British F3 International with limited success.

i think if anyone doubts the difference between F1 and IRL .. all you need to do is remember the Mansell - Michael Andretti trade

like father like sons? doesn't it seem like they are being ushered to the top without benefit of developing the necessary skills? a case of "daddy's money and prestige" buying rides! or am I missing something?

So far I'm not convided about his sons.
