| Schatz Wins World of Outlaws Title for Second Consecutive Season Donny Schatz earned his second consecutive World of Outlaws title, over the weekend after earning two Top-Five finishes in the inaugural Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway. The native of Fargo, North Dakota finished the season with a series best 19 A-Feature wins. He won at 14 different tracks, in 11 states, as well in Canada, in the World of Outlaws inaugural visit to Castrol Raceway in Edmonton. He won five televised races, including two during the inaugural “SuperClean Summer of Money” on ESPN2, in addition to three victories on SPEED. He finished the season with 70 career World of Outlaws A-Feature wins, which have him tied for sixth all-time with former World of Outlaws champion Dave Blaney. Schatz also earned an amazing 71 Top-10 finishes in the 75 A-Feature events that were contested. He was running at the finish of all but two events. | Re: Schatz Wins World of Outlaws Title for Second Consecutive Season he'll probably do that when he gets ready to slow down and take it easy. right now he's making big bucks, traveling a lot, and getting lots of trophys, so it'll take a pretty big checkbook to get him to make the jump right now, unless, of course, NASCAR's always been his dream - but I don't think it has...
