Casey Stoner led from start to finish Sunday to win the Czech Grand Prix and extend his lead in the MotoGP championship standings to 60 points with six races left. The 21-year-old Australian went around the 3.358-mile Brno circuit on his Ducati in 43 minutes, 45.810 seconds to win his seventh race of the season.
"Today was just perfect. I've always liked this circuit a lot," Stoner said. "I plan to win some more races."
John Hopkins of the United States finished a career-best second on his Suzuki, followed by another American, defending champion Nicky Hayden on a Honda.
