Well that statement can't be 100% correct. They can run in their chosen series and not be any good. Does the name Erin Crocker ring a bell. But from what I've noticed, and I admit I haven't watched much of it, she is pretty good.

To a degree I suppose you are correct but I guess my take on that view is that someone must be first and someone must be last. If you can't even accomplish last then you can't make it into your chosen series. There have been cases where women have run in the cup series but for onr reason or another didn't stay. It is possible they were doing a one time shot or possibly they couldn't meet either their or an owners expectation.

Lol...oops. I meant to say that I haven't watched the indy cars that much, but from what I have seen of it Danica does seem to be pretty good.

Thats true. But at least Danica does run pretty good. Don't know why the females just don't make it in Nascar.

Alive and well (proportioned) competing on the IRL tour. since the 500:

She came to Texas for the Bombardier Learjet 550k at Texas Motor Speedway. http://www.indycar.com/multimedia/bu...18&size=smlmed
where she finished 18th.

Then off to corn country for the Iowa Corn Indy 250 at Iowa Speedway. http://www.indycar.com/multimedia/bu...12&size=smlmed
where she retired early because of a wheel bearing failure, finishing 18th.

And last week for the SunTrust Indy Challenge at Richmond International Speedway http://www.indycar.com/multimedia/bu...10&size=smlmed
she had a rough time of it: injured in practice then had to retire after 80 laps of the 250 because of the injury, finishing 19th.

She has a lead, much like Juablo's, in the Bombardier Learjet Rookie of the Year.

You can follow her IRL career here: http://www.indycar.com/drivers/driver.php?driver_id=336
