| Re: Ashley Force beats father John I know this is odd but, Does any body knows how Ashley Force looks? And one more thing, Let her still have a few years in NHRA first. And if she is going for NASCAR, let her get the feel of a stock car by let her do small series first.

Or you could force feed me some Miller High Life !!! Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder also. I'd take a '73 Mercury Capri or a 57 Metropolitan long before Ashley. (My wife made me say that) |

| Re: Ashley Force beats father John It's probably true that Ashley Force will never go to NASCAR. If she did, she might be the first woman to truly be competitive in any of the NASCAR series. In watching female drivers around here on the local tracks, after speaking with them, Ashley has already proven she as a leg up on many of them - she has no fear of the speed itself. She goes faster than any of the cup cars for sure, but has no fear of the actual speed. A lot of the women racers I've talked to say they find the speed they are traveling, especially when they are alone on the track, as in qualifying, to be disconcerting. They kind of forget about it when they're in traffic because they're concentrating on staying out of trouble. I would hope, no matter who NASCAR brings over, female, male, straight line driver, two wheel driver, if they have no experience, start them small. Very small. Don't stick them in Cup, Busch, CTS or even ARCA. I mean small. With no experience going in circles or on four wheels instead of two, I think you're asking for disaster otherwise. |

I have no clue about this Ashley babe, and I only know Danica because of this Forum. Whether or not these ladies are "hot" ... hmmmm ... can't tell you. Never seen either one. But I hope you gentlemen, and I use that term loosely Nope. No wrath from me. I just wish that when a woman sits behind the wheel of a car, the first thought isn't "she's a woman". It's like ... what was his name ... Willy T. Ribbs ... or something like that who drove Indy. The first thought was "he's black". So what?! Talent is talent, no matter sex or race. There are plenty of good ol' white boys on the circuit who can't drive for sh!t! How was that for PC?

I know I'm swimming in the pool of testosterone as a member of this Forum, but come on guys! There are many drivers I find attractive, but I primarily discuss their talent, not their looks! Boys will be boys, I guess. |

![]() I look to Bill as a driver first, then a semi-hottie. I think that's the difference. I didn't start the Cutest Driver in NASCAR ... I just chimed in. Hey, you guys are entitled to your opionion. I just wish the women who race would be considered a good (or bad) driver regardless of their sex. No harm, no foul, my friend. Don't worry ... I get it! |
