Re: Laraque's a Hab

and one more signing:
The Canadiens also signed goalie Marc Denis. Denis, bought out by the Tampa Bay Lightning last month, signed a one-year deal. He begins the season as the No. 3 goalie behind Carey Price and Jaroslav Halak and will likely begin the season in Hamilton of the American Hockey League.

Cripes, another one bites the dust. Well, he will certainly help out Montreal.

Re: Laraque's a Hab

Is that how you feel? They are all leaving a sinking ship?
I think the Malone thing was a bummer. Other than that - I still think you've got a pretty powerful team. Hossa was never going to stay - Hired Gun means No Allegiance. Good riddance (yeah he played well, but he didn't get the Cup for you-let him go dally somewhere else - you've got young amazing players committed to the Penguins).
And there's something else.
Two words: hall Gill.
No more needs to be said.

Well, I mean, yeah... we still have a great core team. It just bothers me to see so many of the role players leaving.

happens after every Cup run to a great team - I was stunned when they left like rats from a sinking hip in Edmonton.
Happens everywhere - except Detroit.
