| Lapierre signs on Maxim Lapierre signed a two year deal, terms not disclosed. This'll be his fourth season with the Canadiens. Last season, he set career highs in games played (53), goals, assists and points (7-11-1  . - okay what is with this smilie thing this happens to me every now and then - that should read 18.He's young - he's part of the strong Habs team.

| Re: Lapierre signs on He'll make 575,000 this year and 800,000 in '09-10. I'm not a huge fan of this guy but he's definitely worth having around at that price. Plus, it's not a long term deal so if he craps out, him and Montreal part ways. Good move. |
