Re: in Philly for game 3 a little more info re line changes from nhl.com; Latendresse will play on Montreal's third line with center Bryan Smolinski and wing Tom Kostopoulos. Steve Begin, who flanked Smolinksi during Montreal's seven-game series victory against Boston in the opening round, will be moved with center Maxim Lapierre. Carbonneau wouldn't commit to the wing opposite Begin and admitted he would "see how things go."

Re: in Philly for game 3 Gonna be interesting. Yeah, I'm glad Dandy is out for Latendresse but I wish they put Ryder in instead. I have a bad gut feeling about this one. I don't want to see the Wachovia center tonight. Oh well, I have to watch but a great deal of apprehension about this game. I just keep telling myself that even if we lose, we'll come roaring back and surely to god we won't go down 3-1. Price has to be sharp. Fingers crossed and eyes half closed.

Re: in Philly for game 3 So many missed oppurtunities. Kovalev had two point blank that he missed and a 5-3 for two minutes to start and nothing. Crossbars, goalposts and all kinds of shots and still nothing. A very frustating game to watch. And maybe Price saw the goals or maybe not but no excuses in the playoffs. He's 6,3 and over 200 pounds so get in front of it. However, it's only 2-1 for Philly so some hope left. Who would you go with in goal for game 4 if you were Carbonneau?

Re: in Philly for game 3 I think I'd go with price again, mostly because he's been the number one goalie and he deserves it even after some bad games. also, halak saw hardly any shots so couldn't really prove himself. Not that he might not be up to it, but price has put in the time. if you don't go with price next game, you risk him losing confidence which is huge for a goalie. But on the other hand, maybe it will make him mad and want to come out hard the game after that. Still - I'd go with price. he already has something to prove.

| Re: in Philly for game 3 I'd go wth Price, and not becuase I am a Philly fan, but it's just the right call. If Biron lost a game, no matter how bad he looked, I wouldn't hesitate to have him in for the next one. Price got that team there, and he deserves to go the rest of the way with them. Its just the right thing to do. Maybe the team needs to clear the crease, of just play a bit better in front of him. A goalie gets the blame the same way a quarterback does in football, and often it just isn't fair.

Re: in Philly for game 3 what i was blown away last night by was Philly's ability to get in the way of the habs' puck all the time. Stopping the power play, getting the puck out of their end constantly. Very skilled defensively - Habs need to step up like that. Defend price.

Re: in Philly for game 3 That was something I was pretty proud of coming from last nights game. Our PK was pretty stout, but that PP just makes my blood run cold. I'm convinced everytime that Monreal gets a PP they are going to score. We need to play 5 on 5. Even 4 on 4 play hurts this team!

Re: in Philly for game 3 The Flyers have the edge but an opposite scenario is very possible. Montreal manages a win tomorrow and then back to habland for game 5, a philly win in number 6 and then a very emotional, physical game 7 back in Montreal where we win. No details available as of yet. Just vague ones such as Price gets his game back, Koivu keeps it up and Biron completely loses his cool and confidence after an unintentional hit by Steve Begin. Remember this post.
