Game 7

tonight's game 7 between the habs and the bruins will be the seventh time they have faced each other in a Game 7 - the most any two teams have done so in a North American sports league.
Got this from the Toronto star. Not the leafs - the bruins and the habs.
Montreal has won 4 and lost 2 Game 7s against Boston - the most recent was 2004 - Habs came back from a 3-1 deficit.
Who was the habs coach when this happened?
Claude julien who now coaches the bruins.
It's a small incestuous hockey world, isn't it?

This'll be some game tonight - or it better be, anyway.

Re: Game 7

If Boston wins it will be a great upset for Montreal.
Go Boston! Put one in Phill Kessel!

I hope it's close the whole way - and then the habs win.

Re: Game 7

Price let's 2 in early on and the Bruins cruise to a 5-2 series ending victory. Lets see if a little reverse psychology works. Habs better win or else Carbonneau is gone!

Re: Game 7

It Boston defense steps up, all Boston needs is Kessel, Savard, and Sturm to finish the job.

Wow Montreal is lucky! Boston isn't even trying!!!
If Montreal has trouble with the Bruins, imagine with the Rangers!!! Avery pissing Price off.

Re: Game 7

It's a replay of game one. Montreal dominates. thomas was skating off before the game ended. Wonder if he was p***ed that his team couldn't manage a goal or that he couldn't stop a zamboni last night.
5-0.
habs move on up.

Re: Game 7

that was what they needed. A little confidence going into round 2. I don't know who I'd rather face, Flyers or Rangers? I think most teams would have an easier time with Biron than with Lundqvist.

Nope. It's Pens vs. Rangers and Habs vs. Flyers.
