Koivu will not be at game 1

which is tonight.
most likely but not definitively, they are saying - but he won't be there.
Bouillon - don't you love that name? - will also be out with an ankle injury, but Ryder and komisarek will be back.
Savard is expected to be back for the Bruins and of course Bergeron's name comes up again - as if he might be ready to go. I think Boston is a little scared.

Re: Koivu will not be at game 1

If I were to pick two out of the four to be ready tonight, It would've been Komi and Koivu but Ryder will suffice. I'm just thankful Komisarek is back. That's imperative. I really can't see the bruins beating us to four games but They'll be tough no doubt. A lot of pressure on Price tonight. He's the guy to watch

Me and my brother think that the upset of the playoffs will be Boston over Montreal. If Boston plays defense, its for the habs.

Re: Koivu will not be at game 1

well looks like the habs just defeated bruins on all possible fronts tonight. They could've had a decoy of Price in net and still won. Listen, take a look at the habs roster and the B's roster, compare the two and give me a valid argument as to why Boston will upset the habs.

Re: Koivu will not be at game 1

yeah - habs scored more, hit more, skated faster, left the Bruins with their heads spinning.
I'm not so sure I agree with booing Chara every time he touches the puck. I know we do it to Alfredsson in Toronto - maybe you can tell me what made habs fans boo Chara? Maybe if I know where it comes from, I can understand better.
There is no fan base like the Habs fan base, man. Behind their team 100 per cent.

Re: Koivu will not be at game 1

I can't tell you why he is booed constantly. I just think it's a combination of him once being a senator and a vague notion that he has layed some cheap shots in his time. I don't know, I know I don't have anything against him but thats probably because he's 6'7. Although Andrei Kostitsyn flattened him last night, that was kinda cool.

BTW, "Big Rasberry on that one." That's nice. I know you aren't a fan but please keep supporting silently.

Re: Koivu will not be at game 1

yeah because Chara is a wall.

The idea that the Habs - especially after last night's showing - won't make it past the first round is laughable.

so Sens are hated in Montreal too?

Re: Koivu will not be at game 1

Umm.. well we don't like eachother. Obviously, the leafs-Sens thing overshadows any rivalry the habs have with either team but we are in the same division and geographical location only intensifies the rivalry. Also, with the exception of the final 2 games of the year, the sens dominated us and that's bound to build some frustration. I don't know about the rest of the hab fans but I for one really dislike the sens. That whole city kinda gives me the creeps.

Well there is always a chance there. If it's not Boston, it's going to be a way better team. Such as Pittsburgh.
