numbers 19 and 23 are retiring

that's robinson and gainey, respectively.
these guys played on a team with Guy Lafleur, Jacques Lemaire, Frank and Pete Mahovolich, Yvan Cournoyer and Henri Richard.
thing is, and we've talked about this before, i think Montreal needs to hold back on all this number retiring or they aren't going to have any double digits left. Robinson and Gainey are the 13th and 14th players to be honoured by the habs.
They join:
Jacques Plante (No. 1), Doug Harvey (No. 2), Jean Beliveau (No. 4), Bernard (Boom Boom) Geoffrion (No. 5), Howie Morenz (No. 7), Maurice (Rocket) Richard (No. 9), Guy Lafleur (No. 10), Dickie Moore and Yvan Cournoyer (No. 12), Henri Richard (No. 16), and Serge savard (No. 1, and Ken Dryden (No. 29).
You can only choose 3, 4 or 8 if you want a single digit. They did honour#12 twice, though.
I'm with the leafs - don't retire 'em until they die.
anyway, congrats to these to beautiful players.

Well, there you go...mix icons with numbers and they can have hundreds of new combinations!...Brilliant!...though letters would wrok too...now on ice...18B...since 18 is retired...then 18B...saying you are respectful to the #18 being retired...once 18B is retired...you move to 18C...are you with me?

yeah but I think I'd take it personally, being 18B.
How about Big 18 and Little 18?
Montreal has just been too great, that's all. Thank God they suck more now.
