I was in the dentist office, mouth open and being worked on, reading the tv on the ceiling when i read the news headline:
Canadiens sign...
And then my dentist got in the way of the screen and I almost pushed him back out of the way because I thought,
hey did they sign Souray?
Still, markov's a good sign.

Do it. the tv saves me. i go regularly to the dentist because i have nightmares about losing my teeth ie I think I obsess - but I hate going, white knuckle my way through it. Watching tv gives me a distraction from the noises.

Obsessive personality compounded with control issues...

I used to be a white knuckle flyer, only because I am a control freak...after figuring that out, and realizing I really can't fly the darn thing...I relaxed and enjoyed the ride...

Maybe watching players without teeth, skating around, makes you subconsciously fear losing your teeth? Why do they not wear the helmets that have a cage looking thing in front of them? Better than losing a tooth I would think?

some players, although using a cage in the Juniors or College Leagues, don't like the bars of the cage interfering with their vision.

I think the main reason is so the ladies can see their pretty toothless faces on TV.
