| Re: theodore no more Well, like I said over in the thread on Cristobal Huet - Cristobal Huet - it looked as though he had been playing well enough to win the job from Theodore. And now in Aebisher you have a better backup for him than Danis. So this deal doesn't really surprise me, b&w. How do you think it'll work out for both team, now and long-term? |

| back up/no back up Aren't most teams just platooning the goalie spot anyway? I mean look at the Flyers. Esche is only in there half the time. Isn't it better to have two very good goalies instead of one awesome one and one that stinks up the place? Just wondering if this is a trend that anyone else is noticing. |

| Abeich-what ? I'm sorry ... did we get a new goalie ? I didn't even notice. I was too busy watching HUET get his second shutout of the road trip. Huet loves the competition, thats what made him turn his game up a notch when Theo was around. Abit's gonna have to get used to watching the games from the bench as long as Huet can stay hot.

| Re: theodore no more I say Theodore's no Roy. They don't just crank these french canadian goalies out like well oiled machines. maybe theodore was having trouble with too many distractions but there's going to be distractions everywhere he goes. That said, he may start to improve. But his numbers are horrible. |
