Is Missouri for real?

Missouri beat the snot out of Texas Tech last night in Lubbock 38-21.
They are now 6-0. Their defense looks strong and they have an outstanding QB to lead their offense. Does anyone think they have a shot at taking the Big 12 north title and possibly taking Texas out and winning the Big 12 out right?
I know I am very nervous about having to face them next week in College Station. They could blow us out, especially if we play like we did yesterday against Kansas.

Missouri is a good football team with a freshman sensation QB named Chase Daniel. This is a solid team on both sides of the ball that is now playing with a lot of confidence. They still have to play Nebraska in Lincoln so I still give the edge to Nebraska, but Missouri is good enough to win if they get some breaks.

Daniel is a sophomore. He looked good Saturday. I know he comes from an outstanding High School program, so he knows how to win and how to win big games. Southlake Carrol has been a powerhouse in Texas for about the last 15-20 years.

I don't buy the win over Texas Tech at all, as I think Tech outplayed them aside the INT for TD returns. But they're a pretty good team and considering their age, they'll only get better. I think they should have lost to Tech and then beaten Texas A&M.

Hi Coach --

I agree with you about their team being pretty good considering their age, and that they'll get better.

I wish I could catch more of their games -- more of a LOT of games, for that matter.

I'll be keeping track of Missouri to see how they do.
