Croom hopes Henderson answers call at tight end

STARKVILLE — Brandon Henderson was at football practice Thursday afternoon - or at least he thought he was - when his head coach came up to him with some advice: Step up to the plate, hit a home run.

Huh? Did he slip into Dudy Noble Field without even knowing it?

OK, so Mississippi State coach Sylvester Croom was just giving out a baseball analogy.

Good thing is, Henderson knew exactly what he meant.
Croom, it seems, is looking squarely in Henderson's direction as the Bulldogs start from scratch this spring in rebuilding their tight end depth chart.
