| What does successful '07 mean for Croom's recruiting? When Sylvester Croom took over as head coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs a few years ago, there was a lot of fanfare. After all, he was the first African-American head coach to grab the reins of an SEC program, and that means something. After finishing 8-5 this past season, the Croom hire is looking pretty good these days. Eight wins may not seem monumental, but it is in the Bulldogs' case. After all, they hadn't won more than three games in an individual season during the six years previous to this one. The question is: What will Mississippi State's 2007 season do for recruiting?
