Coach Rick Stansbury became Mississippi State's all-time wins leader for men's basketball Friday as the Bulldogs completed a three-game road trip with a 95-70 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Charles Rhodes had a season-high 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to spark the Bulldogs (7-5).
Stansbury, who turns 48 Sunday, now has 192 victories (against 109 losses) in nine-plus seasons as the Bulldog coach.
He passed his former boss, Richard Williams, who posted a 191-163 record as the Bulldog coach from 1987-98.
Rhodes hit 10 of 16 shots from the field in posting his second double-double in as many games. Three other Bulldogs hit double figures. Barry Stewart had 19, while Jamont Gordon and Phil Turner had 13 each.
